Years ago four architect students went together with a desire to experiment and build with used materials. They started collecting materials from old table tops to plank floors and plastic sheets at an empty plot of land in an allotment garden in Copenhagen, DK.
In this video, two of the architects Alberte Hyttel and Amalie Holm talk about the process of building a pavilion where the materials arrived before the drawings.
Building the allotment garden has led to the studio aja founded by Alberte Hyttel, Amalie Holm, and Julie Lecuelle. They now use the pavilion as a summer studio.
