Marta Fernández Guardado is a Spanish architect, educator, and researcher based in Berlin, Germany. Her doctoral research, “HOMES, THINGS, BODIES” revolves around small-scale homes and the transformation of personal spaces. She herself lives in a small studio apartment.

In the video, Marta tells how she explores the thresholds between the different rooms. Among other things, she has made cupboards and storage solutions with multiple functions herself, but the exploration also consists in erasing the boundary between the entrance hall and bedroom, which as she puts it "creates an uncomfortable but funny moment," when people enter.
