Kathryn Larsen is an American architect based in Copenhagen, DK.

She founded Studio Kathryn Larsen based on a curiosity for local and traditional building practices and now works actively with examples given from history as a way to find and reveal bio-based materials for present and future use.

In this video, she talks about how we should look at the context of specific places to rethink building methods with local and natural materials instead of focusing on global scalability.
