Building Diversity started as a reaction against sexism in the Danish architectural field. Since then, the organization has focused on equality and diversity in the industry which does not only concern work environments but also and especially from what perspectives we design architecture, and for whom we build.

In this video, host Ane Cortzen speaks with four architects of the now 12 members Ida Bergström, Christine Bjerke, Asal Mothashami, and Nataly Timotheou about the organization, how it started and why it is important to question the way we design.

Building Diversity also consists of Thea Christine Høeg, Emma Elfvik, Bruno Malusa, Cristina Gimenez, Nitsan Bartov, Cath Borch Jensen, Danila Lampis, and Martine Lyngesen.
