Host Ane Cortzen visits Production Support Manager, John Engelstrup from Enemærke and Petersen, who produces pre-fabricated elements made for assembling the showcase project Living Places Copenhagen opening in spring 2023.
In the video, they talk about how they strive to assemble the parts instead of screwing and nailing the elements together which means sparing the number of metal angles that a high in carbon emission.
Living Places Copenhagen is being built in 1:1 and consists of seven prototypes - two homes and five open pavilions, initiated to develop new sustainable building methods.
The project involves collaborative partners VELUX, Artelia, EFFEKT, Enemærke & Petersen and is a part of VELUX's Build for Life.
