Stefan Diez, an industrial designer from Munich, introduces an innovative project showcased at the Chelsea College of Art.

The Vert system features a biodegradable plant net that supports seasonal greenery in spring and summer. As fall arrives, the net and plants are repurposed into biomass through carbonization, creating plant-based charcoal. The remaining biodegradable soil bags are composted, enriching new growth cycles. This closed-loop system eliminates the need for fertilizers and maximizes sustainability, turning every element into a resource for the environment.
