Kathryn Larsen is an American architect based in Copenhagen, DK.
She founded Studio Kathryn Larsen based on a curiosity for local and traditional building practices and now works actively with examples given from history as a way to find and reveal bio-based materials for present and future use.
In this video, she talks about the possibilities of using seaweed to produce bioplastics but also asks the question of how and when we should use natural materials.
