"When We Start to Look at History, We See a Lot of Natural Materials," says the American architect based in Copenhagen, DK, Kathryn Larsen.
In this video, she talks about how she was inspired to work with bio-based materials and her early fascination with old Japanese buildings.

She later founded Studio Kathryn Larsen based on a curiosity for local and traditional building practices and now works actively with examples given from history as a way to find and reveal bio-based materials for present and future use.
